What's Cooking?
Puypuy is helping me cook something up for mid-September. Miniature foods are not readily available so I bought Play-Doh in the 3 basic colors plus white. I decided to create my own miniature food out of modeling clay.
I checked some magazines so I can copy the styled food. A roast chicken and a cake caught my eye. They seemed easy enough for me.
I only have yellow, red, white and blue so I have to mix them to get other colors. I had difficulty creating yellow potatoes. Those are not supposed to be corn and carrots with the chicken. I liked them none the less. I had most fun icing the cake.
I'll be using these as props for the comic strip by mid-September. There will be a party. It won't be party without food, right?
National Play-Doh day falls on September 18 (16 according to other sources) but that's not what we are celebrating...
